Talent Acquisition Manager

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

As a Talent Acquisition Manager in North Kansas City, MO you will work with Operations, Human Resources Business Partners, and Business Leaders to deliver talent solutions to improve business results. You will Create and oversee talent acquisition and retention strategy development and execution including programs, metrics, tools and strategies. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, goals and philosophies of Garney Construction.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Maintaining current understanding of Garney Strategic Plan, vision, goals and philosophies.
• Aligning all talent acquisition activities to the successful achievement of the Strategic Plan, and in service of the organization's vision, goals and philosophies.
• Analyzing all current and future staffing and retention needs across the organization.  Recommending and developing Garney talent acquisition policies, programs and practices that ensure that all business units have the right people in the right jobs at the right time.
• Ensures all recruitment and staffing and retention and Retention programs meet business needs across all profit centers, and are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Developing and maintaining an understanding of regional and local market labor conditions, and recommending novel strategies to meet staffing, retention and development needs.
• Utilize Stakeholder Orientated practices to engage corporate and regional business leaders in the development, approval, and execution of all Talent Acquisition/Retention programs and practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 10+ years of progressive recruiting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field required
• Advanced study/training/certification in Talent Acquisition/Management
• Must be willing to travel.
