A Senior Manager - Data, Development & AI position is available at Garney. In this role, you will lead the strategy, growth, and execution of our enterprise data, development, and AI capabilities. You will partner with business and technology leaders to build high-performing teams, deliver scalable technology solutions, and strengthen Garney’s data foundation through modern development practices, system integrations, and governance standards. As a Senior Manager - Data, Development & AI, you will drive business value through trusted data and technology solutions, improve operational visibility and decision-making, and support the responsible adoption of AI and automation opportunities that advance innovation and organizational performance.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead and develop high-performing data, analytics, and development teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align priorities and deliver solutions that improve operational performance and decision-making
- Define and execute the roadmap for Garney's enterprise data, development, and AI-enabled capabilities
- Own the architecture, strategy, and evolution of enterprise data, integration, and development platforms
- Lead the integration of core business systems into a reliable, scalable, and connected data ecosystem
- Establish and mature data governance, quality, accessibility, security, and technical standards across the organization
- Standardize data models, integration patterns, and development practices to support scalability and long-term growth
- Identify, evaluate, and support practical AI and automation solutions that create measurable business value
- Communicate strategy, priorities, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Manage technology investments, resource planning, and project priorities to ensure successful delivery of business-aligned solutions
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, development, data management, or related technical disciplines
- 3+ years of experience leading technical teams or enterprise initiatives
- Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience translating business needs into scalable data, development, and technology solutions
- Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, architecture, integrations, and modern development practices
- Experience building or scaling enterprise data platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Experience with cloud platforms, data warehousing, data modeling, Power BI, and enterprise integrations preferred
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies, relevant technical certifications, and construction or project-based industries preferred
- Occasional travel required
