GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
A Job Accountant position is available at Garney construction in North Kansas City, MO. The Job Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records, working with other members of the Garney Corporate Financial Services group and construction operations managers.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounting data
- Post job cost transactions and journal entries
- Review and reconcile accounts
- Perform general cost accounting and other related duties
- Maintain the general ledger
- Work with project teams to record job transactions
- Provide reporting to project teams to assist with project management
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
