GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
A Form Carpenter job in Charleston, SC is available at Garney Construction. To be considered for this position you must have previous carpentry experience. As a carpenter, you will construct, erect, install, and repair structures, and fixtures of wood, steel, plywood and concrete.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Verify trueness of structures with plumb bob, lasers, carpenter level, squares and transits prior to concrete placements.
- Constructs forms and chutes for concrete placement.
- Assembles and ties reinforcing steel.
- Operate hand tools and power tools, such as saws, drills, roto hammers, grinder, etc.
- Responsible for adhering to Garney safety policies and procedures.
- Promote Garney Goals and Philosophies.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1 to 3 years of construction experience.
- Firm knowledge of carpenter structures, forms, and tools.
- Must be willing to work overtime as required.
