GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

Garney Construction has an immediate opening for a Marketing Specialist position in Gainesville, GA. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our growing Marketing Team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Evaluate new technologies to determine how to work more effectively and efficiently to meet business objectives
Manage effectiveness of existing technology to meet business objectives (HubSpot, ShowPad, Canto)
Manage Marketing Specialist in day-to-day responsibilities; develops talent
Train Marketing and Operations on marketing/communication-related practices
Oversee vision of overall marketing and communications initiatives; work acquisition initiatives
Execute strategic planning in support of comprehensive marketing team vision, goals, and objectives
Perform benchmarking in designated markets, including competition, strategic intelligence, and market and industry trends

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Cosential, Canto, HubSpot, Showpad, Wordpress, and Microsoft Office 365
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, strategic communications, marketing, or related field
5+ years of professional experience in communications or marketing-related field, preferably in the A/E/C industry
